Is It Safe To Take Suboxone After Taking Tramadol?

I accidentally took tramadol last night of my wifes. THey look exactly like my alergy medicaion. I am currently on 8mg of suboxone 3 times daily. I have not taken my suboxone as i have been scared of the precipitated withdrawls, but I thought tramadol was not an opiod like percocet, or oxy etc. Is it safe for me to now take my suboxone today? Its been 15 hours since i took the tramadol

Hi,

There is no interaction between these two drugs and you can safely take your next dose of Suboxone. Any withdrawal from antiallergics should be gradual and it should be in a tapering manner.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
