Is It Safe To Take Simponi Aria With Methotrexate For Pain In Hands And Feet?
I have been diagnosed with RA and have been on Methatrexate, but this hasn t worked( about 6 months or more). An infusion of simpony Aria has been added, I went one time, and await another on May 5.The pain in my hands and feet is excruciating and I went to sleep at 8:10 AM. and awakened at 10:21 AM.I m up now. If I go the hospital and want an IV drip to knock me out( or one of those strong patches) will I be admitted? I really can t take much more. I will not my doctor, as it is very late and he has small children.Tomorrow?
Yes, in ER they will help you if you are not sleep whole night and you need IV drip for excruciating pain which makes you awake so long. It's good to find out cause of pain by imaging studies. CBC, PBF, LFT, PFT tests to rule out infection.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
