Is It Safe To Take Panadol Along With Flagyl And Novidat For Fever?

My son age 3.5, 12kg. Widral Report is AO 1:40, AH 1:40, BO 1:40, BH 1:40, TO 1:40, TH 1:320. from 7 days his fever average 103. Now I use Medicine from last three days,Panadol syrup, Flagyl (benzolyl metronidazole) syrup and Novidat (ciprofloxacin HCI) Syrup. I need your guidelines, I never ever used English medicine before this. Always homeopathic treatment. Kindly guide me what s more for me.Regards,M. F. Eqtedaar YYYY@YYYY 0092-339-7989

Hello,

TH 1:320 means Widal test is positive but it is of little clinical relevance because of chances of cross reactivity. I suggest you to seek pediatrician help as he might need to review his antibiotics after his proper checkup along with other supporting lab tests and imaging like chest X-ray, blood cultures, urine cultures and Malaria test. Widal is not a standard test these days to diagnose typhoid fever instead blood cultures are more useful in such condition.
