Is It Safe To Take Metformin To Control The Following Blood Sugar Level?

hi. i am taking metformen my blood sugar has been at target..althiugh i checked it i am doing a dot phy.tomo,,,it was 142,,,,i am 300 lbs 5 ft 10 ...50 years oldand i have been on a diet and walking 2 miles for the past 2 weeks.. should i be concerned
