Is It Safe To Take Meprate To Postpone Periods While Having Hyperthyroid?
Hi, I want to postpone my periods for 5 days. Is it advisable to do so. I have some function at home and i will have it for 3 consequtive months on the same dates. My due date is around the 20th every month. If i take Meprate for one month will my periods follow the same date(I get it once in 30 days) or should i again take the tablets? Please advice. I have Hyperthyroid and i am on medication for that. Is it safe to take the medicine. Thanks for your help.
* As per my clinical experience, there can be problems of withdrawal bleed if the meprate is not used on consistent basis.
* So far as consumption with hyperthyroid medicine is concerned, it can be consumed without interaction.
But as it is the duration of 3 months, I would suggest visit your OBGY before consuming the same.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
