I am a longtime insulin-dependant diabetic. I have recently (31 Jan 2015) injured my shin, a laceration about 4 x 1 Wound dressings and a diabetic stocking have been prescribed, and the wound is slowly healing. My longtime doctor also diagnosed me with proprioception at that time, and I have been taking gabapentin 100mg three times a day. My gait is awkward and I am not walking well - mostly due to my desire to NOT injured the leg!! I am definitely babying my leg.My question is - how long before the gabapenitin offers relief? Thanx :)
