Is It Safe To Take Atacand And Cartia Together?

I m a carer for an old lady. She takes Atacand (Candesartran) 8 MG (1 tab daily, AM) against elevated blood pressure. She also takes Cartia (100 mg heart aspirtin) 1 tablet a day (also AM) to prevent blood clots. I heard there is interaction between these medications. What should we do? Take them a few hours apart? Or ask the doctor to change Atacand for something else? The lady also takes Lipitor 40mg (1 tab daily) and Endep 10 mg 1 tab at night. Any interaction with Atacand of those meds? Thank you kindly. Hi,

These medicines should not be taken together. Taking cartia along with atacand may reduce the effects of atacan in lowering blood pressure.

Whereas taking atacand while on endep may have additive effects in lowering her blood pressure. She may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.

So, these medicines may be given a few hours apart.
