Is It Safe To Switch Medicine To Althea From Ariane?
Hi im using ariane for 6 days and i noticed my body start itching and now i want to change my pills to althea.. Now i wanna know if it is ok to switch to althea even i did not finish the 21 pills of ariane or i have to wait again for my next menstruation to start taking my new pill??

Yes, these pills can be safe to be switched. Both althea and ariane pills contain the same hormones cyproterone acetate and ethinyl estradiol as effective contraceptives. Do not wait for a period before you stop the althea or start ariane pills. The best way to switch from althea to ariane is without a gap start taking ariane after stopping althea with no gaps between these two.
