Is It Safe To Switch From Regestrone To Primolut For Delay In Periods?

Delay in periods for 10plus days:My doc prescribed me regesterone 2tablet for 3days to get my periods as its been delayed for 10days.But I did not get regesterone in pharmacy.can I use primolut to get my periods as it is the tablet available in pharmacy here.Pls suggest as my periods is delayed for more than 10 days

I understand your concern.
Regestrone contains Norethindrone. Primolut N contains Norethisterone. Both the tablets can be used to normalize menstrual periods.You can use either of the tablet for delay in periods.
However, before using it, confirm that the delay in periods is not caused due to pregnancy by getting a urine pregnancy test done.
