Hi,

You need to strictly abstain from having intercourse or any form of sexual activities while on treatment. Having intercourse can cause the organisms to develop resistance and reappearance of infection, which might require treatment again. You or your partner might land up in development of certain complications associated with the infection.

Kindly follow the instructions given by your doctor and do the necessary follow-up as advised.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Ashakiran S,
