Is It Safe To Have Normal Sex Life After Undergoing Treatment For TPHA?

Hello sir I am infected with tpha (++++) after some symptoms I went to doctor for std check up last week .After how many years the infections come out in body because I didn t sex with anyone from last 2 years . I am worried about my married life I have a son also 1 years old . after treatment tpha viruses will remain in body is it safe for sex With my wife when I am cure Or it will go to my body ? I will b cure for whole life or I will again get this infection please suggest me some precautions ..2 . on my tongue sore the the tube gel I was using my sister s son also used that on his tongue ulser so I am scared is he also infected with tpha viruses thanks .

Hi,

Normally, you can have sex, 2 weeks after successful completion of treatment. To be pretty sure, you can have a second and third test at 3 and 12 months respectively after completion of treatment. If these are negative, you can assume yourself to be free from illness. However, before this, you are to make sure, that your partner is also free from disease or he/she has been completely treated for disease.
