My Dr. recommended a carotid angiogram after seeing my ultra sound results. I told the Dr. that my father had an angiogram done some years ago and the dye seriously damaged his kidneys. He then asked me if I was allergic to seafood and I said I wasn't. He then said I should be okay. However, my father wasn't allergic to seafood either and the dye still caused him to suffer through dialysis the rest of his life. How can I know it's safe for me? Thank you, Jack Frink
