Is It Safe To Give ORS And Zinc Drops For Diarrhea In Infants?

Hello, I am having a girl child of 5 Months 27 days. She is totally on Bottle feed . She is having Loose motions since last 4 days . She had the same Problem 10 days back also. She Started Watery Stools Very Soon. Since Birth this is 4th time she is having loose motion. So please suggest me waht to Do as i am giving her ORS and Zinc Drops.Regards,Mansi

Hello,

You can consult your pediatrician to change the formula brand to one which can be more suitable to her. Use simethicone to help with gas and loose bowel movement. Also, she is at an age when the other foods should be introduced and you can start adding them to her.
