Is It Safe To Give Cital For Difficulty In Urination In Infants?
Hello Doctor. My kid is 16 months old and last 48 hours she is having fewer on and off. We consulted pediatrician ,he gave moxclav bd, rinifol and ibugesic plus. But the fewer still didn t reduced. She started crying from yesterday night and just now we observed that she did not pee whole night and she is crying relentlessly. We indicated this to the doctor he asked to give cital.Pl guide if this is the right medication. And what proportion of water and cital needs to be given. Thanks
IT IS SAFE TO GIVE CITAL 10 ML IN 30 ML OF WATER USUALLY PLEASE ALSO GET A URINE ROUTIEN AND MICROSCOPY DONE SINCE YOU UST HAVE STARTED THE ANTIBIOTIC CULTURE IS LIKELY TO BE NEGATIVE BUT STILL A CULTURE AND ANTIBIOTIC SENSITIVITY WOULD HELP IN IDENTIFYING THE CAUSE
