Is It Safe To Get Nose Pierced Over Hemangioma Scar?

I had a heimangioma on my nose and I got it removed when I was really young. 99% of it is gone but I still have a kind of noticable scar from it. I want to get my nose pierced over where the heimangioma was removed (the scar is there). Is it safe for me to do that?

Yes it is okay to pierce over an old, healed scar but the cartilage of the nose (and ears) are quite prone to infection and inflammation following piercing. Use gold jewelery as far as possible at these areas.
