Is It Safe To Fly With A Swelling Behind An Ear?

I have swelling behind my the lower part of my ear. It is painful to the touch but not red. I have no fever. I have just started a course of Cefrin twice a day for 10 days. Is there any reason I should be concerned about an upcoming 6 hour flight?
