Is It Safe To Cease Atenolol And Baby Aspirin From Long Term Usage?

I m a healthy 62-year-old with low blood pressure and low colesterol. Have been taking small dosage of atelenol and baby aspirin for last several years in responses to one episode of A-fib. My doctor has given me the option of discontinuing and I am now one week without it and feeling fine. I work our vigorousy 3x a week. Any concerns?

Absolutely no problem if you stop the medications, as you were taking them at the low dose.

Unless indicated for any health concern, on doctor's advise you can discontinue them.
