Is It Safe To Administer Antibiotics Every 15 Days?

Hello Dr ...my baby is 2 yrs 9 months old.....he keeps on getting recurrent cold cough with fever every 15 days....I try to avoid antibiotics but then have to give him Azithral 200 3.5 ml for 5 days....only then he recovers...is it safe to give him antibiotics every 15 days...

Most of the cold and cough at this age is due to viral infections or allergy. It is not advisable to take antibiotics so often.
If you believe in herbal medicines, your baby may benefit from syrup Septilin which improves his immunity and prevents frequent URTIs.
