Is It Right To Start Skipping And Healthy Diet To Lose Weight Post Child Delivery?

I m Mrs waqar. I ve 2 kids and the younger son is 2 years old. My wt is 71 kg to reduce I ve started skipping, twisting n walk but b4 doing this I take 3 cloves of garlic. Then 1 ginger 1tsp honey 1 pinch of cinnamon ( salt n black pepper per to taste ) I boil these in 1 cup of water later Sprinkle 1 lemon n drink. In 2liters of water 1 medium sliced cucumber ,12sprigs of mint 1 ginger,1pinch cinnamon 2tsp honey salt and black pepper per to taste n drink this water in the whole day I want to loose weight very fast but healthily. Don t want to be sick n wrinkled. M I doing right or wrong

Hello,

The exercises you have chosen to reduce your weight are good except skipping as it increases the load on your knee joints and cause early wear and tear or osteoarthritis. So it's better to avoid skipping. Instead you can do cycling and brisk walk everyday for 45 mins at least 5 days a week.

The following tips help in weight reduction:
1) Follow a 1000kcal / day diet
2) Eat more fiber containing fruits and vegetables
3) Avoid sweets, cool drinks, packaged food and tinned foods
4) Take whole grains instead of polished and processed ones
5) Control your carbohydrates intake
6) Moderate amounts of protein necessary
7) Very low fat intake is the key
8) You can continue drinking the above recipes as they are very good for health
9) Daily you must drink 10-13 glasses of water
10) Avoid junk foods like chips, chocolates and ice creams

Please don't stress yourself too much as it may lead to disappointment. Slow weight loss is far better than rapid weight loss. So the above tips would help you.
