Is It Required To Continue The Medicine For A Month Even After Recovery?

My wife was having blocked nose and could not breathe and after diagnosis the docter gave doxolin 400mg tablet course for 1 month and ascoril expectorant for 1 month. Is it safe to continue this course till 1 month even if she is feeling fine and goes to work after a week.

Hi,

In my opinion your wife can stop tablet and can continue ascorill expectorant. If the cause of blocked nose is allergic then avoid exposure to open air when ever going out of house. Use cloth mask.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
