Is It Possible To Decrease Medicine Dosage Post Stent Placement?
Sir, I had heart attack in 2002 and stent is added. From 2002 onwards I am on medication. At present I am using following medicines: 1. Metosartan 25 2. Nikoran 10 3.B-JOY 4. coenjoy 100 5.Clopitab A-150 6. Rancad -500 7.Arvast F-10 I am under the care of Excellent Doctor in Hyderabad. Kindly suggest any reduction in medication. Hi,
No medicine dose should not be reduced without doctor's advise. Actually it needs to be adjusted (if required) but continued. Sten removes the local blockage but cause of the blockage needs to be under control to prevent new blockage. Medication and heart friendly life style do that.
