Is It Normal To Pass Huge Vaginal Clots During Miscarriage?
I had a miscarriage last week on Wednesday and the doctor confirmed that I passed the baby on Friday. And I had very light bleeding Saturday and Sunday no bleeding but on Monday I started bleeding a lot. The pass couple of days it was accompanied by back pains cramps and sharp shooting pains. Today the bleeding was light then all of a sudden it was heavy again and I passed a higher clot. Is this normal after a miscarriage? Is this something I need to be concerned with?
Passing blood clots after miscarriage is common, sometimes it may be heavy or scanty. Get one ultrasound done after a week to see for any remnants, as any remnants of fetal parts may cause prolonged bleeding.
Thank you
