Is It Normal To Have Giant Purple, Yellowish Bruise Around Actually Dog Bite Area?
I was bitten by a dog 3 days ago on the back of my left leg. There is a giant purple yellowish bruisr around actually bite, the bite itself is not a huge puncture but red. When I touch it it hurts, feels swollen and almost feels like it could pop in a sense. Is this normal?

Hi,
It seems that due to dog bite you got big hematoma causing this bruise.
Apply ice pack 2-3 times a day for few days.
Go for tetanus toxoid and anti-rabic shots.
Go for one course of antibiotic medicine course for 3 days.
Ok and take care.
