Is It Normal Of Having Intrauterine Pregnancy With Anterior Developing Placenta?





Hi doc
!Goodeve! I had a pelvic ultrasound and the diagnosis is single live intrauterine pregnacy presently in variable presentation.. compatible with 14-15 weeks AOG, anterior developing placenta..NORMOHYDRAMNIOS.. is it normal doc?thanks i just want to know what is it..

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Your ultrasound scan shows-
- Intrauterine pregnancy.. Uterus( mother's womb) is normal habitat for growing embryo
-Variable presentation.. at 14-15 weeks fetus starts moving, it's small sized & can move freely in uterine cavity. So it's position ( presentation ) is variable at this stage of pregnancy.
-Anterior placenta- placental position in front part of uterus-- is safe, it does not obstruct birth passage. so it is normal.
-NOrmohydramnios- It indicates amniotic fluid in which the fetus floats. Report indicates normal amount of amniotic fluid.
All the parameters are within normal limits.. nothing to worry about.
