Is It Dangerous For Babies To Swallow Baby Oil?
My one year old baby swallowed some J&J Baby Oil. just a swallow if that much--I did call poison control and they said to watch him for the next 24 hours and that if he starts having breathing difficulties, fever, anything unusual, to get to the Emergency room or call our pediatrician. The poison control said that it would probably act as a laxative. the baby did not appear to aspirate,just swallowed a small amount. Is there anything else I can do?

In my opinion there is no need to do anything else unless any symptoms appear. The body will try to eliminate it in stool. There is nothing to worry at present.
