Is It Common For People With SCD To Have Chest Pain?
Hello, Hello, I am a 37 year old female with SCD type SS. As of recently every time I drink fruit juice or soda (warm or cold) I get this excruciating chest pain. Do you know what could be the cause of this? It has never happened before so I m kind of worried.

I were to suspect oxidative damage to RCB's.More importantly this might also be due to a local pathology in the stomach due to acidity.I were to suggest to avoid fruit juice or soda and observe; if the symptoms persist then it is more likely due to acidity.Hope this answers your query.
