Is Intake Of Multaq And Flexeril Together Dangerous?

I have been taking multaq along with flexeril for years now. Was just notified by my pharmacist not to take both due to some type interaction. That was all they would tell me. I do not take flexaril but maybe one 10mg tablet a day , sometimes not that, just when needed. Is it dangerous to continue?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

From what I can tell there are no interactions between Multaq and Flexeril, so I see no reason to be concerned about it. Especially if you have been taking both for years, I don't see any problems with continuing to use Flexeril as needed. I would only suggest you let your doctor know about the concern to see if they have any concerns or perhaps they can discuss it with the pharmacist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Aaron Branch,
