Hello

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice
You need not to go to ER but be blood clot is really matter of concern and it has to be confirmed first and for that angiography is needed with the doppler study of vascular system of leg vessels, if the symptom of pain is severe and causing circulation disturbances damaging the tissues then it is time to see the ER.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
