Is Hollowness And Pain In Neck And Cheek Sign Of Cavities?

Doctor,I am a 27 yr old female with average weight. the lower front teeth have some white hardened substance at the back of the teeth i removed it. the place which had the substance now is hollow are these cavities??. i have pain in the side of the neck and cheeks on the left side which goes up to the head only during winters or while being in AC rooms. please advice what has to be done.

The hard deposits as been mentioned can be calculus if present between the teeth and after removal ,it is the inter-tooth space which should be normally covered by the healthy gums.

I would advice you to visit your periodontist and get your teeth cleaned and have it checked if there is any decay .If decayed ,get it filled.

Use chlorhexidine mouth was after cleaning the teeth and brush properly with the correct method of brushing.

The pain in the neck could be due the spasm in the neck muscles (usually spondilitis) which needs reviewed by your general physician.
