Is Hip Pain A Side Effect Of Long Term Meth Usage?

My daughter has been a heavy meth user for 3 years and has progressed recently to IV use. She is complaining of severe hip pain. She is only 30. I have explained the effects on her bone density and risk of osteoporosis. Could this be a sign of that? It breaks my heart to see her body decline so rapidly :( I just try to keep her informed and hope for the best :(
