If that snack had bitten to your neighbour and then you then also chance less unless you come into contact with her blood... Hepatitis c not spread through animal bite. But yes if you come across contact with her secretions then you might get infection. Because hepatitis c virus present in secretions so it can spread through it... Avoid sharing things to her like tooth brush . Still if you have doubt regarding contact with secretion of her in past then you can do ELISA test for detection of HCV antibody. Take care..... Dr.Parth
