Is Having Phlegm Normal During Pregnancy?

I am 22 weeks pregnant and over the past couple of months, had a lot of phlegm it feels at the back of my throat, urging me to cough it up. No pain, no fever, just if I don t cough it up, it sits there-voice will go croaky and it doesn t go! It s very annoying but is it something I should worry about or is this associated with pregnancy?

Hello
Welcome here.
I dont think this is due to pregnancy.
This may be a result of upper respiratory tract infection. You must visit a ENT specialist for throat examination. You might require a course of antibiotics and exoectorant medicines.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
