Is Hard Bump On A Toddler's Head Normal After A Head Injury?
My 18 month old son fell off the top of the couch. He now has a bump on the top backside of his head that is as hard as bone. Is this normal for it to be that hard or could it be bone. He seems to be acting normal and went to sleep at normal time about 1 1/2 to 2 hrs later.

This is probably a hematoma--a pool of blood under the skin.
It will be absorbed by his body in time but just to make sure he's OK you should have a doctor look at him
