I have been taking Coversyl Plus HD -dosage of 2.5 mg.one a day. I started taking this medication approximately one year ago and have noticed a drastic drop in my blood pressure - for the better. My blood pressure was at one time well over 156\80-ish and now it is 120\ 75. I have also been smoke-free for over 1 year. I feel so much better - even with the added weight which will eventually be worked off. The only question I have which nobody seems to have an answer for is this: I have been experiencing a degree of thinning of my hair and in spots, it just does not grow - also - it has become wavy - almost curly in the front. My age will be 67 this month - and I was wondering if my hair loss problem was as the result of this mediation - although the list of side effects does not mention hair loss.The only other thing is a cough which could be due to the lungs clearing out after many years of smoking - the coughing has subsided somewhat at this time.
