Is going to gym a good option for increasing height and to attain physical fitness?

I am Maxwell and my age is 18 and I want to join Gym as to increase my height and physical fitness . Can you suggest me what shall i do? Is gym is a good option. Will it harm anyhow in future. please let me know so this life is once and for all I do not want to harm it to cry later. Please help me by your suggestion. Thank You.

hi... its great to see your interest towards fitness.. it is absolutely safe for you to join the gym.. i suggest start slow like picking light weights initially till you get used to and then go heavy.. do weight lifting 3 days a well and other 3 days you can do cardio/ swim/ jog/ dance/ play any sport like basket ball, badminton etc which will help to increase your height..just make sure you eat right food, avoid junk, fried, processed.. have fruits, nuts, salads etc and get enough rest..
