Hello, fucidin H is an antistaphylococcal antibiotic combined with hydrocortisone. The antibiotic won t help with itchiness or inflammation unless it could be attributed to an infection by staphylococcus which doesn t seem very likely in your case. The hydrocortisone component will help for faster results. Your symptoms are probably the result of local inflammation. The antihistamine regimen that you already take is appropriate and you should continue taking it. One important thing is that you should not scratch it even if you re dying from itchiness!
