Is Flying Safe While On Pradaxa For Treatment Of Deep Vein Thrombosis?
I was diagnosed with a dvt in my calf on Monday. I went to the ER was hospitalized over night and they administered heparin. I m now on Pradaxa and scheduled to fly from Michigan to California tomorrow morning. And then California home to Maui on Friday morning. Is this safe being that I still have a clot in my leg?

You can fly safely as you are on blood thinners. Do not keep the leg in a fixed position for long time and brisk walking in between also be useful.
