General & Family Physician 's  Response
HELLO,
i can understand your concern. going through chemo sessions can be really tiresome.
feel sorry to hear about the ovarian carcinoma.
the side effects of chemotherapy ranges from nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, hair loss, severe weakness.
it is quite normal to feel the effects of chemo even after two weeks after the first session.
eat a balance healthy diet, there is loss of appetite during chemo sessions which lead to the weakness.
include fresh fruits. these give enough calories and are easily digestible.
if you do have nausea kindly take tab zofer4mg(ondansetron) twice daily
a multivitamin tablet such as zincovit can be taken once a day.
drink plenty of fluids and fruit juices as dehydration is usually seen.
hope you are satisfied with the response.
feel free to ask further queries.
thanks for choosing HCM
