Is Excess Calcification On The Kidney A Cause For Concern?

Hi, My daughter back last July had intense pain on her right lower side so we went to the hospital. They thought it might be appendix or kidney stones so they did a ct scan but ruled out both. By coincidence they found very slight calcifcation on one of the kidneys. they tested blood for excess calcium but level was normal. our family doctor has not made much of it - should we be concerned

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the calcification finding may be nonspecific and it may not be related with the pain so no need to worry about this and it may not be the matter of concern as long as the pain is concern, hope this information helps.
