Dear Doc, I have colonic distension as concluded by the doctor i had a checked up with And a bilateral renal gravels. He prescribed the ff medicine: MEVA, eucarbon, emilok .... are these medicines ok to take? Your reply is of great help to me Miss Christine
HI. Thanks for your query. Eucarbon is very safe and will be effective in colonic distension.
Meva is used in irritable bowel syndrome, but I think it may not be prescribed / taken if you have colonic distension.. IT is good for irritable bowel syndrome of spastic variety and not the distension variety.
Emiloc is fine to be taken.
What are the reports of lower GI= colonoscopy? biopsy?
