Is Elevated Blood Pressure Level Due To The Stress Of PVC's And Insomnia?

I have developed as of late a bout of PVC's mostly in evening and sleeping hours that are accompanied by a flushing sensation in my shoulders and head. I check my BP and during these same time periods it is higher than normal (120/78 <150/95) Could the higher BP be related to the stress of PVC's and lack of sleep?

Hello,

Actually PVC can only be detected in EKG. Only if there are any symptoms, then one can say it is PVC. Some of these symptoms are flushing sensation in the head and in the shoulder. But it can be caused by another illness as well and other functional factors. High blood pressure may be not related to PVC. Because PVC is a complex phenomenon; most of the time it is nonspecific and may disappear on its own.

Hope I have answered your query,
