General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I had gone through your query and understand your concern.

Short answer: Yes it is normal

Detailed answer :
Thank you for asking.

After treatment with antibiotics, it is common that skin gets dry and peeling. It means that impetigo is subsiding. There is nothing to worry. Once this is over peeled skin will be replaced with new skin. Please continue with antibiotics.

Hope this helps.
If you have any other queries I'll be happy to help.

Regards,
Dr.Prathap Kumar
