Is Double Dosage Of Tramadol Advisable For An Injury?

I had a sever fall with great injury to right knee and left breast. I already take 50mg tramadol for pain in my leg. I was given 800 mg of ibuprofen . .. Which helped the pain for a few hours. Since I have the tramadol which I used that did help faster for longer, still not enough. Can I just take 2 tramadol q 6hs. Can't see my doctor till next Thursday. Thank you

Hello
The maximum dosage of Tramadol is 300 mg per day so you could safely take two 50 mg tablets up to three times a day, but not every six hours. So you should only take that amount, say, every 8 hours instead of every 6 hours
