Is Doctor Consultation Advisable For Chest Pain And Tiredness?

I inhaled some apple today and the resulting coughing spell lead to a lot of scary symptoms. I had a very hard time even getting a good cough to dislodge the apple but when I did I had the most painful electric shock like pains across my entire chest and radiating down both arms. It was scary and the coughing lasted nearly 10 minutes. My chest is still painful and tired feeling. Should I follow up with my family physician?
