Is Dilaudid Advisable For Severe Pain Caused Due To Brachial Plexus Surgery?

I had brachial plexus surgery @ 16 to correct (somewhat) my erbs palsey. It was not recommended by some Drs for risk of chronic pain. I have irregular moderate-severe pain. I m interested in getting perscribed dilaudid. I have done my research & talked to a friend in pain management who takes this med. how do I get perscribed it ?

Hello,
Dilaudid is not commonly prescribed for chronic pain. It is very addictive and causes many problems with people that use it long-term. There are better narcotics to take chronically if that is what you need. See your doctor for their advice. Regards
