Thanks for posting your enquiry to Health Care Magic website,

As it can be seen, your chief complaints are suffering from a chronic pulmonary disease recognized (MPT) from your childhood ages, and a probable asthma.

Minimal pulmonary tuberculosis (MPT) is a pulmonary disease with small lesion found in chest x rays. These lesions may indicate mostly prolonged treatment of tuberculosis.
Further consequences and events are disappearance of illness processes, prolonged process of resolution, probable fibrosis of lung tissues leading to respiration restrictions, or sometimes in non-treated patients and those who suffer from autoimmune disorders may demonstrate rapidly spreading TB pneumonitis through lung bronchioles.

The point is routine and regular chest x rays are demanded to follow up the process of MPT. Another sequel of prolonged TB is lung fibrosis leading to respiration restriction which potentially mimics asthma symptoms. However in asthma there is an inflammation of bronchial walls, while in MPT, fibrosis process of lung tissues restrict breathing.

Please notice that the consequence and fibrosis of TB is called restrictive lung and for asthma, it is called obstructive lung disease.

According to the patient’s history posted, my recommendations are:

1.     To continue the follow up of your TB and its treatment under your doctor specialist supervision regularly using chest x rays and other routine and specialized tests.
2.     You may demand to test your lung capacities and reserves using modern spirometer devices.
3.     In case suffering from moderate to severe shortness of breathing, tachypnea and dyspnea you need to visit your doctor immediately and start more aggressive, inclusive and stronger treatments.

Hope you feel better soon,

Regards
