Is Depression Related With Tingling Sensation In Head?

I have been trying to quit smoking but have recently noticed I have tingling feeling in the back of my head that comes and goes, also headaches. Also I have anxiety and depression my doctor says it will just go away so I Dont know what s wrong with me, am I dying...

Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.If you would have presented to me as an outpatient,I would have made the following clinical explanation-
You have provided a nice history with catch points for the diagnosis.Your syndrome of intermittent headache at the back of the head along with tingling paresthesias are well explained by anxiety with tension type headache.Depression also may be contributory to the headache.If you would have not given history of anxiety or depression,even then I would have made anxiety as the first probable diagnosis.Yourself giving a background history of anxiety,almost verifies the diagnosis here.Please do mental relaxation exercises/Yoga/Pranayama to reduce your anxiety levels.Please discuss with your physician to start your therapy with low dose amitriptyline.It will probably be of help.I hope it helps you.
