Recent MRI of hip, Impression: Advanced degenerative arthropathy and cartilage loss at the left hip, with subchondral edema at the acetabulum and the femur, adjacent to chondral deficiency. There is subchondral cystic change at the acetabulum. Question: What is the most common reason for the initial inflammation flare-up?
