Is Cypon Syrup Recommended To A 11 Month Baby For Vomiting?
hi my son is 11months old.he is a very fussy eater.he usually vomits his food and sometimes he vomits the previous meal also.It smells like sour curd.elders at home say he has indigestion problem and less apetite.they advise me to give cypon syrup for infants.Is it safe to use cypon.please advise

Cypon syrup contains cyproheptadine which is a centrally acting appetizer drug.
At 11 months, there is no need to give an appetizer syrup as at 11 months child don't want to eat because of taste problems. Child prefers to eat what tastes betters.
In my opinion, you should give multivitamin drops 1 ml PO once a day so that multivitamin deficiency will be corrected.
