Is Consumption Of Melted Plastic, As Part Of A Baked Dish, Harmful?

I prepared a dish few hours before intending to bake. I covered the dish with plastic wrap and later on I just turned the oven on at 375 degree without realizing that I did not remove the plastic. Since the plastic melted I was not aware of the mistake and consumed most of the dish. Should I be concern? Thank you

Hello!!
Dear, Thanks for referring to HCM.

I have been through your query and understand regarding your concern.

plastics are not digestible. They may though get effected a little by our strong gastric acids. Make sure you have your regular bowel habits. Any sort of abdominal discomfort, pain, constipation etc has to be reported to the doctor.

Eat lot of bananas and drink milk, and lots of water inorder to ensure you have a smooth bowel and the plastics get eliminated as soon as possible.
Donot worry much, they will surely get eliminated.

hope i have helped you.Tc

contact me for further queries.
